Although it is slightly hard to notice, the glamour and skyscrapers of the city of Dubai owe their magnificence to a group of people who are often forgotten. These workers toil day in and day out under the persistent sun of a place we can no longer call a desert. Clad in fluorescents and adorned with countless beads of sweat, they come from South Asian and African countries, chasing dreams that may feel out of reach.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is where we come in.

SmartLife is an NPO/NGO envisaged a few years ago by key members. Despite its infancy, we are today supported by many — from business school alumni to leaders across Finance, Advertising, FMCG, and GIS organizations.

"Our aim is simple: to uplift blue-collar workers. Whether it's free English lessons every week, mentorship programs, or occasional trips outside labour camps, we help workers take a step beyond routine and discover their true potential."

Spreading awareness is key. We've been featured in full-page articles across local newspapers, magazines, TV stations, and social media, reaching people who share our cause.

We also invite organizations and professionals to contribute ideas, resources, and support. Through ideation camps and project teams, these ideas are tested, refined, and integrated into SmartLife's operations.

We strictly adhere to the law of the land and are officially registered with the Community Development Authority of Dubai.
