We are delighted to share that SmartLife’s Co-Founder and Executive Director, Mr. Rex Prakash, has been presented with the prestigious Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Award by St. Joseph’s College, Tiruchirappalli.
Named in honour of the visionary former President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the award recognises distinguished individuals whose leadership and contributions have created a meaningful and lasting impact on society.
This recognition reflects Mr. Rex Prakash’s unwavering dedication to community service and social development. It is a proud and significant milestone for him personally, as well as for the entire SmartLife family.
SmartWoman, in collaboration with Paymentology, distributed 250 iftar kits to the female frontline workforce at the EFS accommodation in Al Quoz.
The kits were generously sponsored by Paymentology, whose team also volunteered their time and effort to support the distribution and make the initiative especially meaningful.
The activity was led by the Paymentology team alongside SmartWoman leads Kaveri and Haleema, reflecting a strong spirit of partnership, compassion, and community engagement.

SmartLife recently organised two engaging activities for its Senior Citizen and Single Parent community.
In collaboration with volunteers from the Mohanji Foundation, participants enjoyed a guided yoga and meditation session designed to support physical and mental well-being. Chair yoga was also provided to ensure the session was inclusive and accessible to all.
The group also took part in a two-hour Dubai cruise, bringing together around 70 senior citizens, single parents, friends, and family members for an evening of entertainment, dinner, and relaxation.
SmartMedic has reached an important milestone by expanding its free eye-screening programme beyond Sundays and labour accommodations to include weekday sessions conducted directly at worksites.
During a recent worksite screening, 110 drivers received complimentary eye examinations, along with access to discounted prescription glasses and frames. This expansion reflects SmartLife’s continued commitment to making essential healthcare services more accessible to the frontline community.
SmartHands participated in the Emirate NBD Exchanger Program in Commerce City, Dubai, UAE.
Ahead of Ramadan, Smart Distribution carried out a large-scale community initiative across five labour accommodations in the Al Quoz area.
A total of 2,350 grocery bags and 300 hygiene kits were distributed, helping provide essential support to frontline workers during the holy month.
SmartLiving conducted a series of mental health, wellbeing, and substance-abuse awareness sessions for frontline workers at Sobha Camp in Ruwaiva, Sobha Camp DIC 2, and the Al Ghurair Power site in Al Barsha, reaching nearly 200 participants.
Led by SmartLiving counsellors and facilitators, the interactive sessions addressed stress management, the effects of smoking, alcohol, and substance misuse, and the importance of physical activity, financial planning, gratitude, forgiveness, and community support.
Through practical activities and open discussion, participants gained useful tools to manage stress, make healthier choices, and work towards greater personal and financial wellbeing.
